Things To Do This Bank Holiday
The 2nd bank holiday of the month is almost here and I thought it would be good to highlight some of the best events going on in the UK that weekend, because there’s lots happening and what with ash clouds and the British Airways strike looming you may want to give a foreign holiday a miss.
Butlins 80s Festival
If you are a lover of 80s music (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?) then a weekend with the red coats may float your boat. They are host to the best 80s line up with stars such as Madness, Buck Fizz and Go West live on stage. It’s a pretty good deal too with 3 nights costing £124 per person – which is not a bad offer if this is your idea of a fun weekend!
Britannia Hotel – Theme Park & Hotel Packages
ideally the weather will brighten up, and if so, a a theme park day out would be a fantastic, fun way to use a Bank Holiday. Britannia Hotels has some great packages available.
Alton Towers:
With more than half of the rides accessible for nippers under ten years old, Alton Towers is fantastic as a day out for the whole family or an adult weekend. You can opt for weekend or day passes
Cadbury’s World
This may not be as exciting as a rollercoaster ride, But if you are a chocoholic and want to experience a little history by discovering how it all was born, then this could be a fun day out for the family. there is a great playground there the kids will love and a brilliant beanride train touring the chocolate wonderland. You can also create a new and exciting flavour of chocolate which will be your own, and the best sublingual cialis part is you can buy Acai online eat everything!
Drayton Manor
Drayton Manor is a great theme park and zoo not too far from Coventry. Your accommodation is 30 miles drive away from Drayton Manor theme park and zoo and prices start at £105 for family accommodation and day passes. Kids also eat for free at the carvery.
Goodwood family fun buy cialis online day
Everyone loves a day at the races, and this Bank Holiday, there is a family fun day at Goodwood, which means not only can you enjoy a fantastic race meet there is also lots to keep the kids having fun all day long too. There are fairground rides, a circus workshop, a helter-skelter, magicians, bungee trampolines, children’s races, bouncy slides, sing songs and storytelling. Prices start at £10 for children and £20 for adults but you also get transport to and from the venue thrown in.
Isle of Man TT Races
The races start from the 29th May and continue until the 11th June, so if you are into racing this will be a fab weekend away – and you will get to see the wonders of the Isle of Man. the race has been going on for over 100 years, its popularity no doubt due to the gruelling nature of the race and the lengthy 37 miles it covers as well as the immense skill which is required to get up to speeds over 200 miles an hour, the smallest error in judgement could prove very dangerous in this environment. A visit to the official Isle of Man TT website has information on the best way of getting to and from the island, plus there’s information on where to stay for all budgets.
